2025 marks 60 years of New Zealand-Singapore, and Australia-Singapore trade and diplomatic relations. Singapore's Prime Minister Wong visited New Zealand and Australia to celebrate and strengthen relations in October 2025.
As High Commissioner, Gaby Rush was responsible for leading the negotiations and preparing the celebration tour. In this video, she shares was it entailed, what they discussed, the significance of the heightened relations through the new Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and talks about future prospects for both New Zealand and Singapore. Gaby is a former international lawyer and seasoned diplomat.
