Dellys Kelly

Dellys was Founder of the University of Southern Queensland in 1958 and was awarded a Fellowship of the University in 2009. She was Chair of the Toowoomba Women’s Council of the Liberal Party for 27 years and has been an active fundraiser for her entire adult life.
At 81 she is still actively involved in event management and fund-raising for the Liberal Party. She has 14 great-grand-children. Dellys was born in 1932 in Toowoomba, Southern Queensland.

Hugh Mackay

novels. In recognition of his pioneering work in social research, he has been awarded
honorary doctorates by Charles Sturt, Macquarie, NSW and Western Sydney universities.
