Growth Strategy

Picture
You're right, we're not McKinsey. Or Bain, We don't need to be. We have our own unique and proven method and have provided leading global brands with sound and savvy strategic advice about what is fueling or inhibiting their progress on their growth curve, and how to stimulate a climb.

We 'get' organisations and their dynamics better than most and we use our very own 'Growth Curve' to help you assess the 'Top 5' business critical elements driving productivity and profit; illuminate the performance of each; and support you to plan sustainable 'fixes' to ensure continuous renewal. Aligning Cultures

Picture
The Culture Circuit combines 30 years of work. Commencing with my Masters thesis 'How Cultures Impact the Bottom Line' (published 1998, two years before Edgar Schein's paper 'Organisational Culture' in 1990); I advanced my model further when I interviewed 100 leaders from across Asia-Pacific for my book Stepping Up: Leading Culture Change for Diversity and Growth in the Asian Century ; and now we have adapted the Culture Circuit again to respond to COVID-19 and support organisations to pivot, survive and thrive in 2030.

The Culture Circuit evolves as the world changes and as values shift with each generation. We improve its design as we learn from each intervention and will show you how to make adjustments that will keep your culture responsive to changes in your market and industry.

Transformative Change

Picture
Few change agents integrate strategy and culture prior to driving transformation the way we do.

Most transformations are about process and project management - a push strategy. growthcurv's unique integration method inspires followship by putting leaders out front and preparing them to fuel change by 'being' the future leader they need to be - a pull strategy.

Our 'pull strategy' has proven successful across many industries and nations.

Conquering the Pandemic: An audacious strategic pivot!
Audacity means to take bold and daring action to secure your future.

Each business has a direction, momentum and set of beliefs about where it is headed and what it can achieve. To pivot, belief in a new future state, and how to get there urgently, is the stimulus needed to alter direction.

When responding to a major unexpected crisis, panic can raise fear, which in turn restrict action and creativity and you end up with a nudge rather than a leap. Let us help you find the confident solution.

Adapting Culture & Conduct in Banking, Superannuation and
Financial Services
Australasian banks and financial institutions are grappling with the changes laid out in the Royal Commission Report in Australia, and the Reserve Bank and FMA report in New Zealand. Both reports illuminate a superficial understanding of: how cultures form; the assumptions that drive behaviour; and that changing culture and conduct requires much more than altering artefacts (which most 'recommendations' relate to). Artefacts are very often like band-aids. They fall off.

Sustainable culture change requires deeper penetration of all cultures, not just the companies themselves, but the culture of all stakeholder groups that impact it.

Talk to us about using growthcurv's Culture Circuit to drive culture change across all impacting stakeholder groups. See my work in FS around the world here.

Maximising 2021 M&A Integration
and Divestment
Each group of people has a unique culture. Underlying, hidden forces of culture aid and inhibit merger and divestment success, as in the case of Daimler - Chrysler. When you fail to recognize the differences, they quietly and covertly undermine your efforts at achieving synergies and lead to your undoing.

Reduce risk and increase synergies by identifying what forces are at play. Know how to use these forces positively to drive faster integration and add value to your investment.

Talk to us about your planned merger or divestment. Make it count. See my work on mergers here.

Achieving Diversity and
Diversity of Thought
With many years of experience living in five major cities across four regions of the world, and having worked in scores more cities and as many cultures, I've learned how to unleash the diversity of thought that often sits latent in organisations.

Most leaders want their people to be fully productive. Being fully-productive creates a strong sense of well-being and pride. These feel-good outcomes inspire positive workplaces. To achieve full-productivity, you need to create a highly inclusive workplace that allows all races, genders and abilities to work at their best, without barriers to opportunity.

We can help you to connect with and motivate people of all cultures, races, genders and religions in your employment.
